Convert your existing Zeiss 10-100mm T2 zoom to a Super16 12-120mm, T2.4mm zoom

ZGC has a Super 16mm Conversion Kit to convert your existing 16mm Zeiss 10-100mm, T2 zoom to a Super16 12-120mm, T2.4 zoom.

The Kit allows you to hard-mount your existing Zeiss lens in an Arri PL mount.  When using the lens in 16mm format, vignetting problems are eliminated. The original BL mount will be converted to Arri PL mount.

The cost of the conversion, performed by a ZGC technician, includes conversion, collimation and replacement zoom and iris scales.

ZGC Super16 Lens Conversion Kit for Cooke 9-50mm Zoom (no mount)

ZGC has a Super 16mm Conversion Kit to convert your existing 16mm Cooke 9-50mm, T2.5 zoom to a Super16 10.8-60mm, T3.0 zoom.

The cost of the conversion, performed by a ZGC technician, includes conversion, collimation and replacement zoom and iris scales.  Your existing mount is used in the conversion.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE KIT?

The Super 16 conversion kit is a small external optical adaptor that mounts on the rear of the lens, inside the existing mount. It includes the optical cell, a spacer to be placed under the existing mount, a zoom and iris scales, plus the screws needed to mount the unit.

What are not included are extra shims needed to make the fine adjustment of the back focus after the conversion.

This is a semi-permanent modification as it can be easily removed and the lens returned to its original format. However the iris and zoom scales will probably be damaged in the process and may need to be replaced next time the lens is converted back to S16.
