How do I get an image with more contrast on my JVC ProHD camera without going into the full “Cine” mode?

Try setting one of the User buttons for Black Compress. You can chose level 1, 2, or 3. We find that level 2 gives a nice contrast in the image but not too much. This will work for any of the JVC ProHD cameras.
