The Super 16 conversion kit is a small external optical adaptor that mounts on the rear of the lens, inside the existing mount. It includes the optical cell, a spacer to be placed under the existing mount, a zoom and iris scales, plus the screws needed to mount the unit.

What are not included are extra shims needed to make the fine adjustment of the back focus after the conversion.

This is a semi-permanent modification as it can be easily removed and the lens returned to its original format. However the iris and zoom scales will probably be damaged in the process and may need to be replaced next time the lens is converted back to S16
