The POLAR BEAR case thickly padded with insulation is designed to keep your camcorder warm in cold temperatures. Lined with Mylar fabric The interior to reflect heat back into the camera chamber. Air activated warmers placed inside the case maintain interior temperatures to keep battery, recorder, lens and hands warm. Tested at -50 degrees fahrenheit. Attached insulated lens hood protects the lens in transport. It also prevents condensation from forming when bringing POLAR BEAR in from the cold.
