The DV Select Kit 3 contains the following:
- Neutral Density 0.6: Effectively reduces the amount of light passing through the camera lens without changing the color of the scene. Essential when shooting DV in bright sunlight. Provides balanced exposures, improved contrast and depth-of-field control. Can produce blurred effects at slower shutter speeds.
- Black Pro-Mist 1/4: Tones down excessive sharpness to create the "film look" and creates a light pastel effect while reducing contrast and slightly lightening shadow areas (less than Pro-Mist 1/4). Smoothes and softens unwanted fine detail like wrinkles and blemishes and maintains overall sharpness with contained highlight flare.
- Ultra Pol Circular Polarizer (Standard Circular Polarizer for screw-in sizes) (Requires 2 f-stop compensation): Deepens blue skies against puffy clouds, reduces undesirable glare & reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases color saturation for overall richer, more vibrant color.
