Chrosziel 4x4 Matte Box for the Panasonic AG-DVX100
Housing covers 16:9/4:3. Don't be daunted by the intricacy of this diagram. Attribute it to detailed German engineering expertise. It's really very straightforward.


If you own the Panasonic AG-DVX100 and the Panasonic Anamorphic Lens and Integrated Sunshade (AG-LA 7200G), you will not be able to use filters. Chrosziel has the solution. AND, in addition to being able to use two filters (one stationary, one rotating), the Chrosziel Matte Box system can also accommodate your Century Optics .7x Wide Angle Converter and 1.6x TeleConverter.

The system incorporates a modified version of your Panasonic Anamorphic Lens Sunshade into the system (shown in drawing above). See code number DVX-MOD in the price list below for details.

If you already own a lightweight support system for your camera, consider purchasing only the Basic Unit (411-50P). This will give you everything you need to use the system with your Panasonic equipment. Purchase the adapter plates separately to accommodate your various lens converters.

Important tips: (1) To avoid vignetting when using the Panasonic Anamorphic Lens (AG-LA7200G) do not zoom wider than a focal length of 6mm. (2) We do not recommend using the Century Optics .6x Wide Angle Adapter with this system. (3) Using the Chrosziel 4x4 Matte Box system with lightweight support rods is highly recommended.
