Abakus Stadium Lens

The Abakus Super16mm Stadium lens is the widest, ultra-wide, F-theta lens available for Arri PL mounts. The diagonal angle-of-view is a massive 210 degrees.

Unlike fisheye lenses, the F-theta lenses have minimal distortion in any one sector of the shot and can be panned during use without ill effects. Although the Stadium lens for video was designed for sports use in large spaces, the Super16mm film version is ideal for creating an atmosphere in small, even claustrophobic type, spaces.

The lens is designed to take up to two fixed standard 40.5mm internal filters. One rotatable filter holder is supplied.
