Precise and safe manual focusing with auto focus cameras.

Issues: Focus rings of most DV cameras turn indefinitely without changing the setting, and your focus range is dependent on the zoom setting. If you turn the focus ring 30 degrees in wide angle, it results in a change from 3 to 30 meters, and 3 to 5 meters in tele position.

The VariLock Follow Focus was designed to let you select precisely between two focus points -- with your Canon XH G1, XH A1 or Panasonic HVX200, for example -- and even without looking into the follow focus.

The Chrosziel HDV Rig VariLock is available as an upgrade to the Chrosziel DV Studio Rig Follow Focus or as a complete new follow focus unit.
